House Inspection

There's a lot more to know about the house you are about to purchase than location, lot size, living area and the year it was built. A house consists of many complex components including exterior components - foundation, framing, roofing - and interior components - electrical, plumbing, heating, and air-conditioning systems.

As experienced and licensed professionals New Jersey Home Inspectors, we service all of New Jersey including Englishtown, Freehold and Cliffwood. We are able to provide you with a thorough inspection of your house, cooperative and condominium - from roof to foundation. From the outside we will check the exterior walls, roof, driveway, deck, etc., and then we will move inside to examine the walls, ceilings, floors, doors, and windows. The heating, air-conditioning, plumbing, and electrical systems will all be examined to ensure that they function correctly and don't need maintenance or replacing. Bathrooms, kitchens, laundry rooms, attics and basements (or crawl space) will also receive a thorough check.

Here are some of the many items we will be looking at during your home inspection:

  • Inspection of the site and adjacent grounds;Grading, water run off, decks, porches, retaining walls, landscaping, fences, paved areas, sidewalks, walkways, driveways...
  • Structural inspection;Wall and floor framing, foundation, bearing and non-bearing walls, flooring and ceiling systems...
  • Exterior inspection;Siding, windows and doors, exterior trim, steps and staircases, balconies, decks and porches...

You will also have the opportunity to ask our New York and New Jersey home inspectors about the contents on the home inspectio report. Who should have better knowledge of a home than its next owner?
